Black Rock PorchFest 2025 will be rocking a porch, stoop, or veranda near you on Saturday, August 23th from 1-8pm. The 9th iteration will feature over 80 bands broken into hourly groups. A number of food trucks will also be bouncing around the neighborhood throughout the day. GETTING HERE
Black Rock is a vibrant residential neighborhood, and it’s important to be respectful of the community that makes this event possible. That means being mindful of where—and how—you arrive.
Driving? It’s strongly discouraged to bring vehicles (including golf carts) south of Fairfield Avenue unless you’ve secured a private driveway spot and arrive before noon. For everyone’s safety—and to keep neighborhood streets clear—organizers recommend skipping the car altogether.
Instead, park at the Fairfield-Black Rock Train Station, just a short distance away. From there, you can easily walk or Uber into the heart of Porchfest! Plus, parking at the station gives you a smooth exit after the event and a chance to enjoy the live music, food, and nightlife along Fairfield Ave on your way out.

KIDFEST
KidFest will be rocking from 12 PM to 5 PM on the field at St. Ann’s Church, this free, all-ages event is designed for families and little ones to enjoy a full afternoon of fun. Expect live music, crafts, storytime, outdoor adventures, and hooping, plus kid-friendly favorites like face painting, temporary tattoos, bubbles, yard games, and a photo booth. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
A variety of food trucks will be on-site to keep everyone fueled throughout the day. KidFest wraps up at 5 PM, just in time for the final Porchfest performance from 6–7:30 PM. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and festive spirit—this is a perfect day out for the whole family!
